Investment memorandum exchanged with Nissin Electric Corportion, a leading listed company in Japan, to include Nissin as a legitimate foreign corporate investor

Joint venture with Nissin Electric Corporation, Japan and set up Nissin-Allis Electric Co., Ltd. for producing SF6 Gas Capacitor and Gas Insulated Switch.

Initial public offering of company shares completed in March.

Yangmei and Hsinchuang factory accredited with ISO 9001 quality assurance system certification.

The Engineering Division accredited with ISO 9002 quality assurance system certification in March.

The SF6 gas insulated switchgear and amorphous core transformers accredited with ISO 9002 certificated by RWTUV.

Yangmei factory accredited with ISO 14001 environment management system certification in February.

An Enterprise Resources Planning project which collaborates with U.S. Oracle, KPMG Business Counsultancy, IBM and Cosmos Information was commenced in March.

Investment in AEC Spa, Italy for the distribution of uninterruptible power supply.

Investment in AEM Srl, Italy for the production of 3 phase uninterruptible power supply.

Joint venture with Nissin Ion equipment Co., Ltd., to establish Nissin Allis Union Ion Equipment Co., Ltd for the sales and maintenance of the ion implanter and related equipment.

Started offical use of an Enterprise Resources Planning(ERP)system in January.

Joint venture with Nippon Signal Co., Ltd. Japan to establish Nippon-Allis Signal Co., Ltd. in April for sales, installation and maintenance of railway signal system and related equipments.  

Yangmei facotry acredited with OHSAS 18001, an Occupational Health & Safety Management System certification, in Oct.

Hsinchuang factory accredited with OHSAS 18001 certification.

Joint venture with Qingdao Yihe Group to establish Quingdao Yihe Allis Electric Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Yihe Allis Transformer Co., Ltd. for the production of high & low voltage switchgear and transformer.
