T 2003 Series 3 Phase UPS - not just another UPS. A whole new breed on UPS.
Innovation and Reliability

Following in the footsteps of its legendary big brother T2000, AEC's T2003 UPS is set to take the industry by storm. Where the market requires a compact, quieter and dare we say more stylish UPS then the T2003 is the one to choose.

Introducing the T2003, a range of 3 Phase, True On Line Double Conversion Technology, Uninterruptible Power Supplies from 10kVA to 50k VA. The designers at AEC have delivered everything demanded of them: a new level of UPS reliability, style and functionality, together with high efficiency and low noise, all delivered at a very competitive price.

"AEC T2003 is set to be the choice of major enterprises around the world." - Compact. Quiet. Stylish. High Reliability.

T2003 is designed specifically for computer room and office applications with easy to understand functionality using the on-board display panel and a choice of communication methods.

The IT industry grows ever more demanding, expecting every generation of equipment to be smaller, faster, simpler, more efficient yet more powerful and easier to communicate with. These demands are consequently imposed on peripheral and support equipment, network devices, printers and of course UPS. AEC recognizes these demands and are committed to providing innovative and reliable solutions not just to satisfy these requirements but to enhance them by providing cutting edge products.

Manual and Static By-Pass to Protect

A manual by-pass switch allows power to be transferred directly to the mains without disturbance to the load. The UPS can then be safely powered down for maintenance or repair, on completion of the work the UPS can be powered up and the load once again transferred back to the UPS with on interruption in service. If the power demand of your equipment exceeds the overload level of the UPS the static switch defaults to the mains ensuring continuous power in the event of system abuse or short term overload conditions.

"Don't leave your company date at risk, with the T2003 there's now no excuses."

  • Health and Safety to Protect

The T2003 range conforms to all relevant electrical safety standards and is naturally CE certified, documentation can be provided on request.

  • Time to Protect

In addition to providing sufficient run-time to save files and shutdown operating systems, autonomies of up to 4 hours are available allowing you the option to complete your work without disturbance to your equipment, even during a power cut!

    10~50kVA
    380V/400V/415V AC

    Features:
Very quiet in operation. By using horizontally mounted, direct force fans. The fans are smaller, therefore quieter.
Simple control. Using the easy to use display panel. With on-board help menu. Just press F1.
Highly efficient. Not only do the smaller fans use less energy, they are fitted with a twin-speed regulator linked to internal temperature sensors, further reducing energy consumption.
All servicing can be completed on-site.
Four choices of communication to remotely manage and monitor the UPS.
Very high efficiency when powering a light load ( A 20KVA has 89% efficiency at 15% output load ), saving energy during times of lower demand. EG overnight.
Small footprint ( 0.32M2), compact tower, designed to be installed in an office or computer room. Taking up very little valuable space in often cramped high resource areas.
Italian styling, available in several colors mix options ( initially black + white & black + gery, with bespoke customer chosen color mixes to be introduced ), enabling T2003 to blend into any office decoration.

    Control to Protect
All T2003 UPS come network-ready, with optional SNMP & HTTP adaptor. Use your preferred SNMP management application or the provided HTTP GUI through your web browser to monitor and control the UPS from anywhere on the network. As an alternative, specialized UPS management software is available for critical applications.

The T2003 can be configured to send alerts over the network or out-of-band via modem to your pager, mobile phone or remote workstation. The T2003 is quipped with RS232 interface for serial communication and can also supplied with volt-free contacts for SCADA applications.

For your visits to the UPS itself, the T2003 is equipped with a simple, clear LCD screen displaying all necessary system information.

    UPS Management
Our specialized UPS management software gives you the power to monitor and control your UPS from remote locations.
    UPS Management Software
The UPS management software is installed on a server or workstation connected to each UPS via the serial port. Power failure, power restored, battery failure or eight events will be detected and the user informed. A shutdown will be initiated when the batteries are exhausted or a technical problem occurs with the UPS. The UPS management software disconnects network connections, logs out users and closes open applications ( subject to app/os support ) before shutting down the operating system itself.
    Features:
    Extensive log files
    Scheduled battery and inverter testing
    Scheduled system shutdown-restart
    User-customisable commands and messages
Multiple UPS control from a single computer
Remote Console Command module for remote multiple server shutdown
Internal SNMP sub-agent for integration into existing NMS ( e.g. HP OpenView, CA Unicenter )
Simple Network Management Protocol ( SNMP )
The T2003 SNMP external agent can be located up to 5 meters away from the UPS. Initial configuration is carried out by serial comms using any suitable terminal application ( e.g. Hyperterminal for Windows ).

The embedded HTTP server presents an HTML interface to the network, which can be accessed from any web browser. All system parameters can be configured from here, including scheduled shutdown. A sophisticated Java applet provides full monitoring in real time, along with comprehensive event and history logs.
